Our Regeneration team are specialists in urban regeneration projects north and south of the border. Such projects, often of strategic and political importance are diverse in nature combining public sector stakeholders with private developers. Our cross-disciplinary approach ensures we can mobilise the essential blend of legal skills and partnering experience to deliver these projects. The team incorporates lawyers specialising in planning, affordable housing compulsory purchase order, construction, tax, and environmental as well as property development law. We have been involved with flagship UK projects such as the WEHM Coventry regeneration in north-east Coventry where over 3,500 homes will be built over 10 years. This project was selected by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister as a national example of the New Deal for Communities project. In Scotland our Regeneration team have been involved in the high-profile City Of Edinburgh Moredun/Hyvots Regeneration, a partnership involving the Scottish Executive, the local council, developers, architects and the recipient housing association.
