The need to take action to stop climate change is at the top of many of our agendas. Amongst individuals, families, communities, businesses and organisations, there is an increasing desire to be more environmentally aware and more environmentally responsible.

We believe carbon reduction is key in the battle against climate change; reaching the government target of a 20% reduction in carbon emissions a vital target for us all. Offsetting the carbon emissions we cannot reduce is also important.

Carbon offsetting is a means by which carbon emitted in the developed world can be ‘offset’ by supporting non carbon based energy alternatives in the developing world. Giving financial support to develop clean technologies in the developing world is a vital part of the global carbon reduction process.

We also need to build environmental awareness and a future for young people in the UK; that’s why a proportion of the funds raised through the carbon credits sold via this site also support the Prince’s Trust and the invaluable work they do.
